Winter of the Wolf Starts With Camp NaNoWriMo

CNW_ParticipantI hate missing NaNoWriMo events, but getting signed up for April Camp was a close one. I got a really bad flu almost immediately after finishing Hammer of the Gods and spent the last half of March sick. I barely had time to sign up and just let myself be assigned to a random cabin, since time was so short. I have a whole month while Hammer of the Gods is with beta readers and in that time I hope to write a big chunk of Winter of the Wolf, book four in the series.

I tend to enjoy failing to success, setting goals that are barely attainable. So, since Winter of the Wolf will hopefully be the hugest, most epic book in the series,  (EIGHT POV characters!) I think 100,000 words should get me halfway there. I know from experience that it’s hard for me to draft a new book while preparing another for publication, so I’ll have to dial it back in May while I get Hammer of the Gods ready to publish in early June.

I’m still a little bit sick, so I don’t want to push too hard, but at the same time, I’m so incredibly bored from not being able to do much,. I’m so ready to do some writing!
